Born from the dunes of Dubai
What started as a love for the desert became a mission: to share the magic of Dubai’s red dunes with travelers from around the world.
We’re a small team of locals who grew up under Dubai’s endless skies. The desert isn’t a destination for us — it’s home.
Red Desert Travel was founded on a simple idea: that the best desert experiences come from people who actually live in the desert. Every driver we work with has spent years navigating the dunes. Every guide knows the stories the sand can tell. Every meal we serve is the kind we’d cook for our own families.

How we got here
The first dune drive
Three friends, one beat-up Land Cruiser, and a dream: to show visitors the Dubai we knew growing up. We ran our first tour for two German backpackers who heard about us from a hotel concierge. They left a 5-star review. We were hooked.
Building the team
We grew from a side project into a real company, hiring drivers and guides who shared our love for the desert. Every team member is a local — every one knows the dunes the way most people know their neighborhood streets.
Premium & VIP experiences
Travelers asked for more. We launched private tours, falcon shows, and overnight desert camps under the stars. We also became one of the first operators to offer fully eco-conscious safaris — no plastic, leave-no-trace, and partnerships with local conservation groups.
Where we are now
Today we run small-group, private, and luxury safaris across Dubai's most scenic dune belts. We've welcomed guests from over 60 countries — and every booking still goes through a real human who reads your message and plans your day.
